A few weeks ago we took a night and went camping at our usual spot in Texas. Huntsville State Park it's a bout a 45 min drive up north from us. We took Rusty along and also Isaah's bf Connor. We loaded up the truck and looked like the hillbillies with the back of the truck overflowing and things roped on. We even took the kids bikes. I wanted to pack a few more blankets and jackets but Chad insisted we didn't need them or have room. Needless to say we froze that night. But the kids had fun anyway. Chad and the kids saw an alligator by the fishing dock Friday night. They have signs posted that say DO Not Feed the Alligators but we had never actually seen one though. They were excited about the alligators. The kids rode bikes, and went on hikes. We spent Saturday morning fishing, but as usual we didn't catch anything. Rusty had the most fun fishing, he swam and swam and brought us all sorts of treasures from the lake. It was alot of fun except for the kids waking up at 5:30 in the morning because they were cold, despite that the kids all want to go back.

Very fun! I can't believe after all these years you finally saw an alligator. I don't know how I feel about that, it gives me the creeps! Looks like a great time. One day Jeff won't work weekends so we can go together.
Looks like lots of fun! I can't believe you actually saw an alligator and still let Rusty swim in the water! Where you using him as bait??? ;-)
