Country Report

In 4th grade here you have to do the famous Country report. The kids write a report on a country of their choice, make a flag, a doll representing the clothing they wear and a map of the country. They also have to make a project at home, something that represents the country. Then they dress in attire from that country and get to take in food from that country and the best part is they get to go around and sample all the different foods. It is a three day process at the end of the school year that keeps them occupied and helps with the summeritis. Isaah chose New Zealand since his grandfather has shearers come over from there and has for years and we have some stuff from there. It is also a place that Chad and I would like to go. Isaah did a great job and LOVED doing his project. I was a little worried about it but I didn't have to tell him to do any of it. We made Pavlova with fresh strawberries and choc sauce for him to take in. It was sooo yummy! For his project he used modeling clay and made New Zealand and painted it. He did a great job.

The 4th grade doing their around the world program. The kids all dress in their country attire and sing and dance songs from around the world.
