A night at the Lake

After school on Friday we took the kids to the lake for some fun. Chad and I had went scuba diving the day before in the lake so Chad was pretty excited about fishing now that he saw the fish. First we had to dehook Chad's finger. That was interesting. He used the fillet knife to slice is finger so he could get the hook out. I have no clue as to how it got it stuck in the first place. Then Chad took turns with the kids snorkeling. After that the lake was so smooth, I kneeboarded, which I havent' done for a while and loved it. Chad practiced his skills at wakeboarding, which was pretty fun to watch. Then the sun started setting and we started fishing. We caught a few and stayed until well after dark which we never do. On the way out of the marina we spotted a herd of wild desert burros. Then a cute little kit fox. Wild Burro's, they kept running away as I tried to get their picture

The kids loved being out on the lake while the sun was setting.

Chad has been having some bad luck the last two days. Cut open 2 different fingers and sliced a nice slit in his tongue, then this... A heavy barbed hook, look close at the picture, it was nasty looking.

Love the pictures, it looks pretty there at sunset! Maybe we will try to come down this weekend! That's a gross picture of Chad's finger, tell him he needs to be more careful!!! :)
